Screenings for the Therapy Dog Certification Preparation
Animal therapy programs serve diverse patient and student populations. Therapy
dog visits are a proven tool in helping healing, improving emotional well-being,
easing stress, and aiding learning. For those who volunteer with their dogs, it is
often the most gratifying experience of their lives. The work is important. You’ll
feel it the moment you begin.
Free screenings, each lasting about 20 minutes, will be on Friday, September 3,
3:00-7:00 p.m.
We seek teams of compassionate, understanding human beings; calm, friendly,
obedient dogs.
To schedule a screening, e-mail George Berger at Georgepb37@gmail.com
Those handler/dog teams that seem appropriate for therapy dog work
will be eligible to register for the Therapy Dog Certification Preparation
course, which begins Friday, September 17, at 5:00
